What does Documents - Payroll do?

What does Documents - Payroll not do?
It does not generate documents. Automatic generation is the document rules engine. It does not migrate old attachments. They keep working; filing them is a deliberate move. Access is the document system's. Which is the point - separate from the record's own rights. It needs the Documents app. That is the half it bridges to.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword viin_document_hr_payroll.
- Press Install.
Instruction
1. Sample data
After installing the module, you will see a sample data that includes:
- Actions:
Navigate to Documents > Configuration > Actions, you will see actions data. Details of each action are also configured.
- Teams:
Navigate to Documents > Configuration > Teams, you will see teams data.
- Document Generation Rule:
Navigate to Documents > Configuration > Document Generation Rule, you will see rules data. Details of each rule are also configured.
- Tags:
Navigate to Documents > Master Data > Tags, you will see tags data:
- Workspaces:
Navigate to Documents > Master Data > Workspaces, you will see workspaces data. In detail, each workspace is also configured with actions and access rights:
2. Manage documents related to Payroll
- Navigate to Payroll > Employees > Employees, select an employee, navigate to the chat area (chatter) to attach document. After attaching, documents will be automatically stored in the HR Documents workspace:
- Similarly, when you navigate to Payroll > Employees > Contracts or Payroll > Payslips > Payslips to select a contract/payslip from the list, navigate to the chat area to attach a scanned copy of the signed contract/payslip. Once attached, the contract/payslip will be automatically stored in the respective HR Contract/Payroll workspace.
