What does Multilingual Tracking do?

What does Multilingual Tracking not do?
It does not add tracking to fields. A field must be declared as tracked; this improves how it is stored and shown. It does not rewrite old entries. Existing tracking values keep the text they were stored with. It is not a change-approval flow. It records; approving a change is a different problem. Very large to-many changes are stored as ids. Readable in the chatter, not intended as a diff tool.

- Selection keys and to-many ids are stored alongside the rendered text, so the display can follow the reader's language.
