Every discussion notification carries a Carbon Copy line naming the other recipients, so nobody answers a thread not knowing who is already on it.
Display Recipients in Email (technical name viin_mail_show_recipient) is an Odoo 17.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for salesperson, support agent, project manager, customer.
The facts of Display Recipients in Email, version 0.1.0, in one place. Published by Viindoo.
One change, in the place it matters.
The block sits above the message body, in the standard notification layout, and lists the recipients of that send.
Posting works exactly as before - followers, recipients and subtypes are Odoo's. Only the outgoing email says more.
A Carbon Copy line at the top of discussion notification emails
Lists the formatted addresses the message actually went to
Only for discussion messages - internal notes stay unchanged
Works on every model with a chatter: orders, invoices, tickets, projects
No configuration, no new menu, nothing to maintain
Recipients are unchanged; only the visible layout is
Everything below was taken on a database seeded with real business data, on this series - not a mock-up and not a screenshot from an older version.
The chatter behind the notification
Read this before you buy. Everything below is something the app deliberately leaves to another app or to you.
Odoo still sends one email per recipient; this names them in the body rather than changing the envelope.
By design - the ambiguity this fixes belongs to discussion messages.
There is no per-model switch; the layout applies wherever the notification layout does.
Followers and recipients are decided by Odoo exactly as before.
Apps from the same stack, built to fit this one:
Knows the customer is on the thread before writing the next line.
Sees at a glance whether the requester and the vendor both got it.
Stops re-forwarding a message everyone already has.
Reads a mail that says who else is in the conversation.

Instruction video: Mail Show Recipients
In the Viindoo ERP software, you can send a notification email to other people by mentioning their name on the communication channel or use the Send message feature in the chatter section of any record.
Below is how to use the viin_mail_show_recipient module in the communication channel of the Discuss app.
Go to the Discuss app, in a channel, and send a message to all the channel members.
Then, the message recipients will be able to see the details of the other message recipients.
