- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword viin_message_edit_lock.
- Press Install.

Instruction video: Internal Message Edit Lock
1. Provide a feature to Prevent editing on the discuss channels
Navigate to Discuss > Channels, select a channel, and press the setting icon. On the channel setting view, add the Lock Edit Message tab and the Prevent editing and deleting messages feature.
Case 1: Activate the Prevent editing and deleting messages feature > Press the edit/delete icon on a message.
The system will show the following pop-up:
Case 2: Deactivate the Prevent editing and deleting messages feature > Press the edit/delete icon on a message that doesn't tag anyone. The system will allow you to edit/delete.
Case 3: Deactivate the Prevent editing and deleting messages feature > Press the edit/delete icon on a message that tags someone. The system will show the following pop-up.
Note: After installing the module, the Prevent editing and deleting messages are auto-activated.
2. Prevent editing in the chatter section if the message mention someone
Enter any document. E.g. Sales > Sales Orders, select a sales order. At the chatter section of the sales order, press the edit/delete icon on a note that tags someone. The system will show the error pop-up. You won't be able to edit/delete it.
