What does On-behalf Payments do?
Mark a payment as on-behalf and split part of it to other partners: on posting, transfer entries move each share from the payer's receivable or payable to the on-behalf partner's account, with a payback status and a report.
What does On-behalf Payments not do?
Distribution cannot exceed the payment. The check refuses it. Transfer account must be reconcilable. Pick one that is. Payback is tracked, not chased. No reminder mails.
