What does Work Entry - Contract not do?
It does not calculate pay. A payroll module turns entries into a payslip. It does not create the contract. Contracts stay in the HR contract app. Days are only meaningful with a schedule. A contract without a working schedule falls back to hours over eight. It does not read a time clock. That is the attendance bridge.
