What does Master Production Schedule do?

What does Master Production Schedule not do?
Forecast is typed, not predicted. Bring your own numbers. Replenishment follows product routes. Buy or manufacture as the product says. One schedule per product and warehouse. Add the product again for another warehouse. Periods are calendar periods. No custom buckets.
Who is Master Production Schedule for?

Which Odoo version and editions does it support?

Mrp Workorder (to_mrp_workorder): Run what the schedule created. Subcontracting Request (viin_mrp_subcontracting_request): Send part of the plan outside. Procurement Approvals (to_procurement_approval): Approve before buying.
