This module plugs the Misa meInvoice provider into the unified E-Invoice interface: once installed alongside the hub (l10n_vn_viin_edi), you configure, issue, adjust, replace, download meInvoice e-invoices from the same screens used for every other provider - there is no separate meInvoice menu or portal overlay.
1. Configure the Misa meInvoice service record.
- Go to Accounting ‣ Configuration ‣ E-Invoice ‣ E-Invoice Services and open (or create) the service record for Misa meInvoice.
- Fill in the meInvoice-specific fields on that record: the Misa meInvoice app id, your production Username/Password (or Sandbox Username/Sandbox Password in sandbox mode), and Need sign on meInvoice - leave this checked unless your company issues unsigned invoices from a POS calculator-machine (may tinh tien) template.
2. Fetch your serial and template from meInvoice in one click.
- On the same service record, press Get Meinvoice template/serial.
- The system logs in to meInvoice with your credentials and automatically creates or updates the matching E-Invoice Serial and E-Invoice Template records - no manual data entry.
3. Review the fetched serial and template from the unified E-Invoice menu.
- Go to Accounting ‣ Configuration ‣ E-Invoice ‣ E-Invoice Serial to review or adjust the serial and template that were just fetched, alongside every other provider's serials and templates.
4. Issue a customer invoice through meInvoice.
- Confirm a customer invoice whose journal or serial routes to the meInvoice provider, then issue it from the invoice as usual. The system automatically selects the correct meInvoice signing path - HSM digital-signature, unsigned, or POS calculator-machine - based on your template and the Need sign on meInvoice setting.
- On success, the invoice's legal number, tax-authority code and transaction id are filled in, and the representation (PDF/XML) and converted files become available for download.
5. Preview a draft meInvoice before issuing.
- From a not-yet-issued invoice, press Preview Draft meInvoice to see how the e-invoice will look before it is actually issued. The system first checks the prerequisites - the customer's address and tax code (or budget code), and your own company's tax code - and tells you exactly what is missing when a preview cannot be generated yet. For a credit note (adjustment or replacement), the original invoice must already be issued before a preview is available.
6. Track meInvoice's own status inside the merged E-Invoice tab.
- Open the invoice's E-Invoice notebook tab. The Meinvoice Information group keeps meInvoice's own multi-state detail - Meinvoice issue state (for example Issued to Meinvoice), Meinvoice State (Original / Deleted / Replaced / Adjusted) and Meinvoice Reference Type - while every one of these states also normalizes into the single, cross-provider E-Invoice Status filter and group-by on the invoice list.
7. Adjust an invoice with the correct VAT when the tax rate changes.
- When you issue a decrease adjustment (credit note) that also changes the VAT rate of a line (for example 10% to 8%) without changing the quantity or price, the system transmits only the VAT difference between the original and the new rate - never the full recomputed amount - so meInvoice and your tax filings stay correct. Start the adjustment from Credit Note on the issued invoice, and choose Money adjustment as the adjustment type when the correction changes an amount or a tax rate.
8. Cancel, or adjust/replace, an issued meInvoice invoice.
- The system blocks a plain cancel on an already-issued invoice, however long ago it was issued, and guides you to issue an adjustment or a replacement meInvoice instead, keeping your books compliant.
9. Let your customer view and download the meInvoice from the portal.
- On the customer portal, the buyer sees the legal number, tax-authority code, the meInvoice secret/lookup code, and a link to look up the invoice on meInvoice's own verification page - in the same agnostic portal layout used for every other provider. This portal text follows the customer's own language, not your backend language.
10. Point of Sale receipts also carry the e-invoice disclosure.
- When a POS order is invoiced through Misa meInvoice, the printed receipt shows the same provider-agnostic Decree-123 e-invoice disclosure block used by every other provider - the tax-authority code, the lookup code, the lookup URL, and a QR code encoding that URL. There is no separate meInvoice-only receipt layout, and nothing extra to configure beyond this module and l10n_vn_viin_edi_pos.
