It is a foundation. Subscriptions and recurring invoicing are the modules on top. It does not invoice on a schedule. That is the recurring accounting layer. Discounts are per period, not per customer. Customer pricing stays the pricelist's. It does not recognise revenue over time. Deferred revenue is its own accounting question.

1. Add access rights of recurring subscription features for users
This module provides a set of access rights for the recurring subscription features. However, it does not support displaying features on the front-end.
2. Provide base information to extend the feature to other apps
Depending on usage needs, users need to install one of the following modules to use the recurring pricing feature on products.
- Subscription management. The module is used to manage subscription products.
- Rental management (viin_rental). This is a module used to manage business operations related to renting/leasing.
- Subscription (viin_subscription). This module is a foundational module for other modules related to business operations involving subscription products, such as purchasing subscriptions, selling subscriptions, and so on.
