It does not fix existing duplicates. Products that already share a code keep it until you change one; the check applies to what you save from now on. It does not generate codes. - Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_unique_product_code.
- Press Install.

1. Enable the feature
Navigate to Settings and enable the Checking unique Product Internal Reference feature.
2. Warning of existing duplicated internal reference
Navigate to Inventory > Products > Products to create a product with an internal reference attached.
Create another product using the same internal reference. A warning about the duplicated reference will pop up, preventing saving this product.
