Accounting Analysis (technical name to_accounting_bi) is an Odoo 17.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for financial controller, chief accountant, treasurer, auditor.

Key Features
Odoo's accounting reports answer the questions a statutory filing asks: a balance sheet, a P&L, an aged balance. They do not answer the questions a controller asks on a Tuesday - which journal moved most this month, which partner sits behind that account-type balance, how the cash accounts moved week by week. Those questions are pivots, and until now the way to run them was to export the journal items to a spreadsheet. This module adds two report models with the fields already joined: Journal Entries Analysis over every posted line - debit, credit, balance, account type, journal, partner, product, quantity, effective and maturity dates, reconciliation state - and Treasury Analysis over the cash and bank side alone. Both open in pivot and in graph, both use Odoo's own grouping and filtering, and neither needs a spreadsheet.

Every posted journal item, with the joins already made. Drag a grouping and the ledger reorganises: by journal, by partner, by product, by move type.

What This App Does Not Do

These are analysis reports, not statutory ones. Balance sheet, P&L and tax reports stay where they are; this is for the questions between closings. Posted entries only. Draft entries are excluded on purpose - a pivot that mixes them tells you nothing. No dashboard or saved KPI. They are pivot and graph views; save the grouping you use as a favourite the way you would any Odoo report. It does not change the chart of accounts. It reads what is there; account types come from your own accounts.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_accounting_bi.
- Press Install.

Instruction video: Accounting Analysis
1. Invoice Analysis report
Navigate to Accounting > Reporting > Invoice Analysis, a report analyzing the untaxed total amount of customer invoices in a period is displayed by default.
From here, you can add other measures such as Average Price, Product Quantity, etc., or use default filters to search for certain invoice types such as by customers, vendors, invoice status, etc. To switch to the pivot view, click on the respective icon.
2. Entries Analysis report
Navigate to Accounting > Reporting > Entries Analysis to see the pivot entries analysis of each accounting type in a period.
In this report, you can select other measures such as Amount Currency, Products Quantity, etc., or other filtering criteria such as partner entries, journal, internal type, etc. by clicking on the + symbol.
3. Treasury Analysis report
Navigate to Accounting > Reporting > Treasury Analysis, the incoming and outgoing flow in cash or through bank accounts of your company in a period of time is displayed in the pivot view by default.
Here you can add some other measures such as Count to display the number of payments received or made by the company. Besides, other filtering criteria such as journal entry, partner, journal, etc. can be easily added by clicking the + symbol.
Note: Viindoo Accounting software supports analysis reports in other graph views such as bar charts, pie charts, line charts, and stacked bar charts.
