The limit that starts the problem
This is Odoo's own attachment path: over the configured maximum, the file is rejected before it is sent.
The field, before anything is on it
One attribute on a field in a form view. No new model, no configuration screen.
Confirm what is about to be sent
The dialog names the file and its size - a 140 MB upload is not something to start by accident.
Stored, and available again
The record keeps the path; the pencil replaces the file, the arrow downloads it under its original name, the bin clears it.
