What does Assets Management do?
Asset categories with linear or degressive methods, assets created from bills or by hand, a depreciation board with posted entries, and the lifecycle: modify, revalue, change usage, sell, dispose, stock in.
What does Assets Management not do?
Tax depreciation is not a separate book. One board per asset; use categories for policies. Components are not modelled. One asset per unit; split by hand. Stock-in and asset allocation need the stock companion. Assets Management - Stock adds them. Localised account codes come from localisation modules. Categories can be overridden per country.
