Retention, in the view Odoo Community does not have
A cohort view for Community: group records by when they started and watch what happened to each group over time.
Viin Cohort View (technical name viin_web_cohort) is an Odoo 17.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for sales manager, inventory manager, analyst, management.
At a Glance
The facts of Viin Cohort View, version 0.1, in one place. Published by Viindoo.
How It Works
Two of the reports it is enabled on.
Sales, as cohorts
Each row is the orders that started in a period; each column is what happened to them afterwards.
And the warehouse
The same view over stock movements - the engine is not sales-specific.
What You Get

What This App Does Not Do
Read this before you buy. Everything below is something the app deliberately leaves to another app or to you.
What it shows depends on the model and the measure you pick.
A cohort without a start period is not a cohort.
What counts as retained is the measure you choose.
Adding it to another model is one view definition.
Works Well With
Apps from the same stack, built to fit this one:
Who Should Use Viin Cohort View?
Sales manager
Sees whether a month's new customers came back.
Inventory manager
Watches how a period's stock behaved over the months after.
Analyst
Gets the one view Community was missing.
Management
Reads retention rather than a total.
