Contacts Map (technical name viin_contacts_map) is an Odoo 17.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for sales, field service, logistics, management.

What does Contacts Map do?
A Map view on the Contacts app: each contact with an address becomes a marker, with a popup and directions.
What does Contacts Map not do?
A contact without coordinates has no marker. The map engine fills them from the address through the configured geocoder. It does not route between contacts. Get directions hands off to the map provider. No clustering. Zoom in where markers overlap. Map tiles come from the provider set in Settings. OpenStreetMap by default.
Who is Contacts Map for?
Sales: Sees which customers are near the one being visited. Field service: Plans a day from the map instead of a list of addresses. Logistics: Spots sites, ports and depots at a glance. Management: Reads the geographic spread of the customer base.
Which Odoo version and editions does it support?

- Search with keyword viin_contacts_map.

1. Locate the geographical location of the contact
- Navigate to the Contacts app > Select the contact to locate > Press refresh at the Partner Assignment tab to locate the geographical location on the map by the contact's address.
2. View contacts in a map view
- Access the Contacts app > select the Viin map view.
