The payslip that knows how the month was actually worked
Attendance hours, late arrivals, early leaves, missing check-outs and valid hours - computed on the payslip from the clock records behind it.
Payroll Attendance (technical name to_hr_payroll_attendance) is an Odoo 18.0 app for Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise and Viindoo Cloud, built for payroll officer, hr manager, line manager, employee.
At a Glance
The facts of Payroll Attendance, version 1.0.0, in one place. Published by Viindoo.
How It Works
Three screens.
The summary on the payslip
Total and valid hours, late and early hours with their counts, and how many entries had no check-out. The stat button opens the records themselves.
The whole run at once
The batch counts the attendance entries of every payslip in it - the fastest way to spot a month that was clocked badly.
The records behind the number
List, pivot and graph over exactly the entries counted, for the argument that follows a disputed payslip.
What You Get
Total, valid, late-coming and early-leave hours on the payslip
Counts of late arrivals, early leaves and missing check-outs
The exact attendance records the payslip counted, one click away
The same roll-up on the payslip batch, for a whole run
An attendance analysis view - list, pivot and graph - opened from either
The summary printed on the payslip PDF, so the employee sees it too

What This App Does Not Do
Read this before you buy. Everything below is something the app deliberately leaves to another app or to you.
Late hours are a figure on the payslip, not a deduction - turning them into money is a salary rule you write.
They rest on the working schedule and the check-in rules configured there.
A contract whose work entries come from attendance uses those entries; a calendar contract matches attendance to the payslip period.
Fixing a missing check-out is done in the attendance app, before the payslip is confirmed.

Who Should Use Payroll Attendance?
Payroll officer
Runs the batch and sees which payslips rest on incomplete attendance.
HR manager
Has late arrivals as a number per period rather than an impression.
Line manager
Checks a team member's month before the payslip is confirmed.
Employee
Receives a payslip whose hours can be reconciled with their own record.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Payroll Attendance do?
Attendance hours, late arrivals, early leaves, missing check-outs and valid hours - computed on the payslip from the clock records behind it.
What does Payroll Attendance not do?
It reports; it does not pay. Late hours are a figure on the payslip, not a deduction - turning them into money is a salary rule you write. Late and early hours come from the attendance app. They rest on the working schedule and the check-in rules configured there. Attendance-sourced contracts count differently. A contract whose work entries come from attendance uses those entries; a calendar contract matches attendance to the payslip period. No approval flow for attendance corrections. Fixing a missing check-out is done in the attendance app, before the payslip is confirmed.
Who is Payroll Attendance for?
Payroll officer: Runs the batch and sees which payslips rest on incomplete attendance. HR manager: Has late arrivals as a number per period rather than an impression. Line manager: Checks a team member's month before the payslip is confirmed. Employee: Receives a payslip whose hours can be reconciled with their own record.
Which Odoo version and editions does it support?
Odoo 18.0 - Odoo Community, Odoo Enterprise, Viindoo Cloud. Upgrades to a newer Odoo series are a separate purchase for that series.
What does it depend on?
It installs on top of: to_hr_payroll, hr_attendance, viin_hr_attendance_validation, viin_hr_work_entry_contract_attendance. Odoo installs them with it.
How do I set it up?
Three screens.
What works well with it?
Payroll (to_hr_payroll): The payslips these figures are computed on. Attendance Devices (to_attendance_device): Where the clock records come from. Overtime (viin_hr_overtime): The hours beyond the schedule, and their approval.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes - the Live Preview button at the top of this page opens the module's own screen on a working database.

# to get the employee attendance entries during the payslip period attendance_entries = payslip.attendance_ids # to get total attendance hours total_attendance_hours = payslip.total_attendance_hours # to get valid attendance hours valid_attendance_hours = payslip.valid_attendance_hours # to get total late coming hours late_attendance_hours = payslip.late_attendance_hours # to get total early leave hours early_leave_hours = payslip.early_leave_hours # to get number of late comes late_attendance_count = payslip.late_attendance_count # to get number of early leave early_leave_count = payslip.early_leave_count # to get number of times the employee forget to checkout missing_checkout_count = payslip.missing_checkout_count
Ví dụ về tính lương cơ bản dựa trên tổng số lần Vào/Ra hợp lệ:
result = 0.0 # Loop over the payslip's working calendar lines that link to contract for wage calculation for line in working_month_calendar_lines.filtered(lambda l: l.contract_id): result += line.contract_id.wage * line.valid_attendance_hours / line.calendar_working_hours
result = 5 * payslip.missing_checkout_count
