What does QR Code Mixin not do?
It does not scan. Any phone camera reads the code; there is no scanner app here. It does not add codes to core models on its own. A model gains one by inheriting the mixin. It is not a barcode nomenclature. Product and location barcodes stay Odoo's. The logo needs a favicon. Without one the code is drawn plain.
