How It Works
Three screens.
The request carries the order
The production order and the bill of materials it runs on.
Configured per type
Which manufacturing fields the request carries, and who approves.
In one queue
Manufacturing approvals sit with purchases, stock and the rest.
What You Get
Manufacturing order, work order, work centre and BoM on the request
Field toggles per approval type, header and lines
Sequential approvers, minimum approvals and deadlines from the engine
The document opens from the request
Works alongside the standard manufacturing flow
Nothing changes about how orders are produced
More Screens
Everything below was taken on a database seeded with real business data, on this series - not a mock-up and not a screenshot from an older version.
Field toggles per type
What This App Does Not Do
Read this before you buy. Everything below is something the app deliberately leaves to another app or to you.
Blocking is the approval state applied by the engine.
Approving a change is not the same as keeping its history.
This is the manufacturing bridge to that engine.
That is planning, not approval.
Works Well With

Frequently Asked Questions
What does OmniApproval™ - MRP Approvals do?
Manufacturing orders, work orders, work centres and BoMs on the approval request - so a production decision is signed for.
What does OmniApproval™ - MRP Approvals not do?
It does not block production by itself. Blocking is the approval state applied by the engine. It does not version BoMs. Approving a change is not the same as keeping its history. It needs OmniApproval. This is the manufacturing bridge to that engine. Work centre capacity is not checked. That is planning, not approval.
Who is OmniApproval™ - MRP Approvals for?
Production manager: Signs for a run rather than being told about it. Quality: Approves a BoM change before it reaches the floor. Planner: Knows which orders are waiting on a decision. Administrator: Configures per type what a manufacturing request carries.
Which Odoo version and editions does it support?
Odoo 17.0 - Odoo Community, Odoo Enterprise, Viindoo Cloud. Upgrades to a newer Odoo series are a separate purchase for that series.

How do I set it up?
Three screens.

OmniApproval (viin_approval): The engine this extends. Manufacturing Backdate (to_mrp_backdate): Completing production on its real date. Quality in Manufacturing (to_quality_mrp): The checks around the same orders.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes - the Live Preview button at the top of this page opens the module's own screen on a working database.
